As a MUSICIAN, DJ Ìràwọ̀ is a Drummer, Songwriter, Singer, Disc Jockey, Record Producer and a Performing, Performance and Self-Releasing Artist.
Her genre of music is Dynamic Dùndún.
Dynamic Dùndún is mental health music created by DJ Ìràwọ̀ that blends the rhythmic heartbeat of the Yorùbá Dùndún Talking Drums with the energy of various music genres, such as Electronic Dance Music, Afrobeat, Afrobeats, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Soul, folk, etc., and is performed in the English and Yorùbá languages.
Her major musical instruments are the Gángan and Ìyá Ìlù from the Dùndún family of Talking Drums and the DJ controller.
She pioneered the addition of the sound of the Dùndún drums to a DJ set, where she blended the talking drum beats with different genres of music, such as Afrobeat, Hip Hop, Soul, Rock, etc. in 2015.
She also pioneered the use of the Dùndún Drums as jazz and classical music instruments. Evidence of this is when she competed with MUSON students at the Christmas Magic music competition hosted by the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) in 2012.
When she is not performing her own music, she performs all genres of music in any language.
